True Adventures

Our True Adventures team leads small groups of people on challenging outdoor adventures to help grow and strengthen ourselves and our community.  We believe that God’s presence is felt more vividly and fully in the wilderness, and so we embark there into the unknown to spend time with each other and with Him.

During or after the trip, you will ideally feel an incredible sense of exhilaration, pride and personal growth.  We intend for you to be pushed to and beyond your perceived limits, stretching and growing in ways you never thought possible.  Ideally, you will return to the city stretched and grown, never to be the same again, with many new relationships formed and existing ones strengthened through mutual experience.

We are a diverse, spiritual community that actively challenges our own personal barriers – physically, mentally, socially and spiritually – through challenging outdoor adventures throughout the Midwest, the United States and around the world.  Through these experiences, we build new and powerful relationships to grow and strengthen our Christian community and impact the world around us.  Non-Christians and Christians are welcomed - any and all.  We were originally founded as an outreach ministry so come one, come all!

We will use our unique and intense adventures to deepen and strengthen our relationships with God, with ourselves, and with each other.  We will build a self-perpetuating and sustainable ministry focused on bringing people to know Christ through our adventures and personal relationships.

Our formula for connecting people is to have some sort of challenging, scary, uncomfortable, exciting, outdoors adventure followed by a shared meal together afterwards.  We feel this is a great way to build new relationships and deepen old ones.
